    Post Rob Galbraith: Firmware v1.1.1 for Canon EOS 40D posted

    Firmware v1.1.1 for the Canon EOS 40D has been posted. It provides fixes for several bugs and enables the PC sync terminal to be used to trigger an external flash, even when the built-in flash is popped up.

    Updated my firmware when I send my 40D to CSC.

    However one thing that irks me most is whenever I take out the battery to charge, and input back, the date/time needs to be set.

    Is this problem after upgrading to 1.1.1 or already inherent in your camera? If it is the former, then this patch is no good.
