Default Buying DSLR...

hi there...
im thinking of getting the 450d before CNY because of the 20% price hike on Japanese cameras.

What combo should I get? (options provided by a friend)
1) 450d body + Tamron 17-50mm
2) 450d kit

do u guyz have anymore suggestions on what shd I get?

Option 1 if you have the money. Plus a 50mm f/1.8II if you want to really get into prime lenses photography.

kit 1 definetly provided you've enough money. and like what headshotzx mentioned, a 50mm f/1.8 II would be useful too.

Choose the first one so you do not have to worry about upgrading your 17-50mm range lens.

Please dun forget about setting aside budget for camera bags, len cleaning accessories, filters and etc....

i got a dry box alr...
but i might be thinking of getting a kit
then a 50mm f1.8
like that more budget for other stuff..

+1 450D + Tamron 17-50!

Using this combo as well. Guess u start shooting with these b4 u buy more, maybe a flash? maybe a 55-250IS.. depends what u need after u start shooting..

I'd go for the kit lens over the Tamron, and get either another lens or a flash, and/or tripod depending on what you want to shoot.
