Description:
Bought originally from shuttergal 6 months ago and has been well maintained and lightly used since.

This lens has a defect which explains its cheap price: on the second element from the front, it has cleaning marks and bubbles. It is for this reason that the rating has been placed at 7/10.

It's cosmetic condition, however, is very good for such an old lens, and it comes complete with front and rear caps.

Ironically, it is precisely because of the defects that this lens achieves an almost dreamlike and surreal quality in the shots I've taken with it.

It was used mainly on my Nikon D70 with an M42 adaptor (bought for $30 from Tagotech) and some wonderful pictures were taken with it. See the pictures shot by me below and I think you will understand what I mean by that dreamy softness.

Important: One limitation of the Tagotech adaptor I bought was that it doesn't allow focusing to infinity on a Nikon body.

The additional M42 to Nikon adaptor I'm offering here as a upgrade option for $30 allows you to focus to infinity. This is because while the adaptor introduces additional length to the focusing distance when mounted, it has a built in lens to correct the focus, which the Tagotech version lacked.
