You mean loose? I ever had that kind of zoom-ring loose problem before with this lens and I send it to CSC. They will mend it for you if it is still under warranty. However they will take about 3 working days before returning it back to you, meaning it is not solved immediately on the spot.

Hi, I had the same problem before. The person told me that the internal rubber for the zoom was worn out so they had to replace it.

Since it's still under warranty just send it in. That's what I'd do.

Zoom Creep. CSC can fix it for you FOC if the lens is still under warranty. While the lens is with them, you might also want to ask them to do lens calibration for you...

Why would they, when it's only lens creep that's irritating the TS? This isn't the situation where he will get a new lens

For lens calibration, they told me that it will be done only if you have focusing problems. Since I did not do any test beforehand, I could not get the calibration done.
