If there was only one "best buy" then Canon would only release a single compact camera. You need to state your needs, your budget, etc.

Then ANY canon compact that meets your budget will do.
Of course, for SGD400, you're pretty much limited to the Ixus 80, Ixus 85, A1000, A2000, A470. Best to go and try them, see which one appeals to you the most.

Most if not all PnS camera nowadays could give you good quality pictures.... both indoors & outdoors. Just go to a shop and test it out. |
