it looks kinda soft and seems a tad overexposed? like hazy hazy effect

nice try ..

you should compose the object 1/3 frame to the left side , meaning is to have more space to direction of the insect facing.

Yup, pic is too soft as I was using Crystalvue 8*32. Moreover, exposure was pretty bad, and post-processing made the pic soft.
