    nope. it's a tokina 28-70 f/2.8, I think it's $470
    add $30 for freebies..like 'wireless dry box'...etc

The Tamron is $600+, I don't think they will offer it so cheap..

I am been reading up on the mid-zoom lens recently, in fact I just bought the Tamron 28-75. As far I have read, the better 28-70(5) for third party lenses are Tokina 28-70 f/2.6-f/2.8, Sigma 28-70 f/2.8 EX DF and Tamron 28-75 f/2.8 XR Di. I have tried the Sigma 28-70, it is still relatively sharp at wide open f/2.8. AF is fast but noisy. The Tarmon's AF is quieter and faster than Sigma but the focus ring move during focusing. Sharpness wide, I tried f/5.6 yesterday. Veri good.

The Tokina on promotion didn't really get good reviews from popular photography less being a good budget lens.

How about the Tamron's sharpness at f/2.8 compared to the Sigma?
