    Default +/- EV Exposure problem

    Hi All,

I'm facing a problem with my D300 or is it myself. When I increased my +EV during shooting, I realize that the picture that I shoot tends to be darker than 0EV but when I tried -EV, the picture became brighter.
Is this normal or sthing wrong with me?

    Thanks...

What is your metering method? Is it coupled to a focus point (e.g. center)? Please post a few example pictures with EXIF intact.

Try different metering mode.... Tried using the LV in your D300 to verify your metering.... it is an advantage of LV...
