Thread: How to save as transparent background in CS3

    Default How to save as transparent background in CS3

    No matter what i try, i am not able to save the logo i created as a transparent background. It is always become a white default background. Any one can help pls..? thanks

    the only file formats able to retain transparent background is GIF, TIFF, PNG and of course PSD.
    JPG does not support transparent background.

    thanks bro. but if i save it sa tiff or gif, then i can't drag the image to another new sheet right? sorry i am still a newbie in CS3

    what do you mean? another file? still using photoshop?
    or some other app?

    It's possible. Just do a cut n paste or select all and then drag.

    what does your new sheet means?

    new layer in the same document? just hit Ctrl J will do

    into a another document? just hit Ctrl A, Ctrl C, and Ctrl V to paste it into the document you want.

    Converted your image from indexed colour to rgb to drag to another file.
