isn't there a lifetime warranty? i not sure coz i only had transcend which comes with lifetime. i suppose most cards do comes with lifetime.

u can try to install the recovery software and see if that detects before u do anything to the card. try first no harm

some of them are parallel imported products so these will be considered grey product. As usual, shop warranty is provided with grey products. However, if yours is from authorized dealer, then just bring your receipt there and claim your "limited life time warranty". Of course, as always, they are not responsible the lost of data in any event.

No problem so far for my ultraII, extremeIII & IV after 2 & 1 yrs of heavy use respectively.
There was a slight scare sometime back when all the files transferred cannot be viewed on my desktop pc.

Then tried using CF card adapter, inserted in my notebook...all transferred & viewed OK.
Discovered the problem was with the cable...not the card.

One thing i like transferring files using notebook using adapter is that i am assured that the Sandisk card is Original as the device name is shown on the card properties...not some other re-labelled brands.

Can try recovering as others has suggested or try using card adapter on a notebook.

if bought in singapore, its 5 year warranty by vector magnetics. For on the spot 1-1 exchange i believe need the original packaging with vector magnetics sticker.

Kingston is my choice for memory card.
You wont see me much less remember me but i am the guy who makes you look good.

woa Saboking, I feel for you man. Buy expensive cards and they die on u. I've got a couple of Extremes and Kingstons. So far the Cheap and Good Kingstons are running well so far with no problems at all, just a tad slower than my extreme III. Hope my ExIII dun die on me too, bcos they cost hellava lot. Do bring the cards back to the agent and claim a new one if still under warranty- u got to produce the original package (papers that come with the pack though).
