i like the slideshow. it has a spunky and upbeat feel to it which is different from some of the conventional slow and "sweet memories" slideshows. also like the photos. however, the slideshow was a little too quick for me to take a look at some of the pics. i had to pause the slideshow to look a few times.

Hi Lumiere, been surfing your blog for awhile, really nice pictures you took!
May I know do you do off camera flash (with flash gels?) for your setup? Seems like all the exposures are very natural and taken using available lights. ![]() Keep up the good work and don't stop sharing!

Thanks Bro...ur recent works are really good too. thanks to the couple for the idea. I was caught unaware too but switch to Ch mode immdly. Nikon professional DSLRS. Anything with D300 can achieve what I did. Not so sure abt D90 but would love to explore as it can do video recording. |

Hi Lumiere, I like this particular series very much. Especially the exposure you managed to record the images. I am curious if no flash was used, what lens and at what settings did you use? Thanks!

I'm exploring gels now as I won't have to deal with the noise in the post-processing. Thanks for commenting. |

Thanks alot. Infact 100% of the photos in the slideshow are taken without flash. ISO was between 1600 - 3200, Aperture at f1.4 almost all the time. in the morning, if you look through most of the photos..the light came from the window in the church the light came from the back of the church...one whole row of spot light... and in the ballroom...if you've shot at Shangri La...its not really that dark with ISO 3200 and at f1.4 Camera is D300 and D700, lens Sigma 30mm f1.4, Nikon 50mm f1.4, 85mm f1.4 and 17-35mm f2.8 hope this clear the questions in your mind...and of course all my photos went through post-editing. |

Wow..ISO 1600-3200! I am impressed with the lack of noise. Guess I have to upgrade to D700 sooner than i thought. :P
Once again, great works Lumiere! Thanks for sharing. Cheers and Happy Chinese New Year to all Clubsnaper. |
