Does anyone here know if the focusing issue is present when using the Sigma 30mm f/1.4 with S5Pro?
I used to use some Nikon Bodies...like D70 D200, had some focus shift sh!t...sigh...damn good lens though. ???Thanks in advance! |

The hardware of S5 Pro is based on D200. If this lens has got issues with D200, I am quite sure the outcome will be the same.

I have the sigma 30mm.. no problem with my S5 pro.. just that i have to set -0.7 exp in day shoot and switch to 0 exp in night shoot

you mean focus issues like backfocusing? usually is a lens issue. send it to sigma for calibration.

Sigma 30m F1.4 is good len if u manage to match the proper len for the Nikon / Fuji DSLR, but Sigma is mass producing this len for all different mounts, so we can expect some mechanical variation in this len.

The lens is $730 presently at TK Foto. $760 at the IT Show by the agent. |
