Default Sigma 30mm f/1.4

Does anyone here know if the focusing issue is present when using the Sigma 30mm f/1.4 with S5Pro?

I used to use some Nikon Bodies...like D70 D200, had some focus shift sh!t...sigh...damn good lens though.

???

Thanks in advance!

The hardware of S5 Pro is based on D200. If this lens has got issues with D200, I am quite sure the outcome will be the same.

you mean focus issues like backfocusing? usually is a lens issue. send it to sigma for calibration.

Sigma 30m F1.4 is good len if u manage to match the proper len for the Nikon / Fuji DSLR, but Sigma is mass producing this len for all different mounts, so we can expect some mechanical variation in this len.

Today i went to the IT show & asked the person at the Sigma counter. Recaliberation of any Sigma lens is free, regardless of where you bought your lens or how long ago you bought your lens.

The lens is $730 presently at TK Foto. $760 at the IT Show by the agent.
