I think it must be some guy who hesitated to buy the S5 Pro at first, finally decided to get one, but is out-of stock.

Since he does not have a camera, he chose to stay home and rot. I would do the same too if I was him/her.

it wasn't me!!!

i think we should have both indoor and outdoor eventually since we can learn different things from both. but i'm going with outdoor first, so we can have more time to plan a future indoor shoot.

i havent seen anyone posting portraitures in the rain. i've been hoping to do that one day too, why not shoot in the rain? just that hoping for the rain can be just as difficult as hoping for that day not to rain

I will like to try that too, shooting in the rain. It can bring out an unique feel.

are you saying you shoot in the rain while the model in the shade? or you in the shade and the model in the rain?

Both in the rain.

I have put Nikon D300 & 17-55 to the the test under raining conditions. Photographer as well, didn't fall sick and water didn't seep into lunges. All Pass!

So should be safe. But haven't tried thunder test...

Is it? So is the D300 better sealed than the D200 body...? So far it has been 6 months since I last shoot in the rain...everything is fine...

only shot in drizzle so far. hotshoe never cover....after that wipe dry. so far either damn lucky or the S5 Pro is damn solid, or both.
