    Default Flashing image during review

new owner of D60, still unfamilar and ignorant of camera's functionalities, the basic concern centres around flashing images during picture review, where certain areas surrounding the object gets "highligted" on LCD. A text description at the far bottom right of the screen indicates "Highlighting Mode", how does one switch this off or is this a built-in camera unerasable function?
If you dont climb the mountain, you cant see the view !

Read your manual... You'll have a whole section on reviewing images, including how to turn on/off the highlight mode.

go to playback manual, display mode, un-tick display highlight.

next time if you want to know something, find it out from camera manual, for an instant, at your camera manual, end of the page contains "index", look out for "highlight", you will be able to find out the pages have more info about the "highlight"
