There are newbies guide stickies right at the top of this Newbies Corner section. Best to read those first, especially the section about "try a search first". As for pricing, best to look in the subforum of your camera maker.

ya, thanks, I'm reading the sticky notes now..
It seems the notes are some how quite technical.. but my question might be silly... like what in my mind now "how much should i pay for a cpl filter?".. i dont know bout the brand, but i try to search in ebay, the price are vary, from 20dollars to 200 dollars... so what brand are recommended for beginer? how much about it will cost? my lens' filter attachment size is 52mm. I know that i can get the answer if i go to the shop and check tomorrow. but, somehow, maybe i cant wait to know, anything will do. or at least, i've got my question when i show up in the shop. I've just a second hand D40 this evening. hooray... greatly appreciate if anyone can answer. thanks a lot. |

Any brand for CPL will do, but Hoya is popular.

I'm not sure bout the price anyway, the receipt only shows the lumsum of the items i bought. I guess it's about 35. u can just go to the shop and ask.
