Nice! What setting did you use?

I jus bought the raynox dcr250 and used it with my 50mm f/1.8 prime. Very difficult to get good focus at around 10cm distance.

Maybe you can share with me on your macro techniques? Tks!

Thank you. Mine is nothing compare to the masters in the marco section. I will suggest using it on the zoom lens with higher F-stop. Set your manual focus to infinity, move in and out of the subject, and press the shutter when u see the subject eyes are clear. The background is black because the shot is handheld and i need faster shutter. you will have nice green back ground if set 1/60s. Diffuse flash must be use to avoid hard shadow. this is what i do. The master and guru in the marco may like to add any more tips that i dont noe and miss out?

It's indeed a nicely done shot, perhaps you might want to include a more natural background to bring the environmental feel to the shot. Well that's personal preferences & nothing to do with this excellent shot.

Cheers!

Hi Wee Lee,

Can you give your permission for us to upload your DCR-250 pics to our McGill website? We are improving the content and hope to showcase more stuff from local users. We'll give you the copyright. IF ok, please tell us the name you want to use on our website.

Cheers,
Jim, McGill.
