Default Flight of the Dragonfly

I was trying my luck..... looks like I need to get a bigger zoom!

f5.6, 1/200, 55mm (EF-S 18-55mm), ISO 100

Had to use MF as the AF could not detect this small guy.
Also caught a few hovering damselflies but not clear and too small.
(70-200mm sufficient??)

Thanks all! Looks like I need a better zoom lens.
Any recommendations? Preferably one that will not bust my bank account.
