Little Giants

At the SACA MTB@ Singapore Polo Club, this little boy on a 'Giant' was racing (pic 1 - 3). After the 2nd or 3rd round he was pushing himself and crying "I didn't want to race, I told my mommy but she insisted sob.. sob.. cycle.. cycle. This series is a tribute to the youngsters who push themselves to the limit in this race.. well not all - see the last pic

Yeah that boy.... at the steep slope, he ever said "some please push me down..."

Shutter seems to be too slow... notice quite abit of motion blurr. Wats ur settings?

Thanks, Zplus for the comments. My setting for the SS is 1/30.

Intention was to keep the face in focus with the rest motion blur. Something like this:

I still have a long way to go, must practice more.

Yeah that kid.....I still remember also he said "They push me to hard....." then weep. Anyway I love the first picture, the black rider behind him give competition spirit.

Aiya... must be a spoilt brat! look at the bike he's riding.... TOP of THE LINE Giant XTC Team!!!

Btw guys, this not a SACA oregainsed MTB race, rather, it was just sanctioned by SACA.

aiyah, having an expensive bike doesn't mean he's spoilt.... don't be too quick to pass judgement, he's still a kid after all!

Hey, the fourth photo shows the exact bike ( other than the red fork; mine was blue ) that was stolen from me! Its a trek y 22 carbon fibre+aluminuim moutain bike ( 1999 model ) with blue sid front fork. Darn...I miss that bike. Never knew i would see another person in singapore riding it again. I sure miss that bike.
