Shops offering service to edit video

I've a friend who helped make a video a full day event and its saved as segments of various video clips. Are there any shops which can help join up the various clips to save as 1 huge video file?

Are there software who can help me to do that easily if I'm doing it DIY?

Are there also shops which offer service which can help edit the whole day's worth of video into a more succint video of the day's highlights? If so, please recommend. Thank you.
