Btw, go for it, it is one helluva good lens, albeit the fact that it can be better in built (not to say it is lousy though), I find it a useful companion in my travels. Not to big, cumbersome nor is it too heavy, it provides a nice balance on the D100 and the bigger D1x/h too. Most importantly, it produces usable images at f/4, a plus point IF you need to shoot wide open. Color rendition is also amongst the top Nikkor class, and this baby is rather resistant to flare, this is something you won't see that commonly amongst ultrawide angle lenses.

not sure if these Nikon lenses are in the Price list though. so, moderators pls update accordingly? Thank You.

i tried to get MS Colors and Alan Photo for a long time but they are never interested in my equotes. perhaps they are making big money from their direct sales? thus, i'm not sure if these are the best prices around.

anyone with different quotes for these lenses are encouraged to share so that everyone might benefit from these resources. especially those on the Tokinas. they seemed to be more affordable.
