    Default loupe and lightbox

    Hello peepz.

Im looking to buy a lightbox and loupe for slide viewing. My budget is $150(non-neg ).
I think i will be getting Kaiser Slimlite panel, i think its around $65? Can someone update me?

As for the loupe..i really have no idea. I've heard of using the Peak 8x, but i would preferably like to have a loupe that allows me to see the entire frame..the meticulous checking of sharpness will come later? or is 8x the best bet?

Can someone recommend me a gd loupe for the rest of my budget? and some comments on the light panel?

    PS: i don't have a 50mm to use..

    Thanks!

a 4x loupe will gives u a full frame viewing of ur 35mm slides.
IMO,get a good quality loupe so dat prolonged viewing of slides will not be so straining on ur eyes.
i'm using a schneider 4X loupe,i highly recommend it to anyone.
    But...i think i got it for $180+ ?

Ouch. $180 is quite impossible for a 18 year old..
Anyway, thanks for the recommendations. Will keep that in mind when i have more bucks.
