were you trying to do a tilt-shift effect?

didn't really work for this scene though..

It's a post processing effect... Someone posted a tutorial for this effect before here... It is meant for the picture to look like a toy/model.

yah.. that effect is called a "pseudo tilt-shift effect".. if i remember correctly..
