1月1日2009年 Wake Up Call *WARNING: This series is very different from my previous writeup. Can be very sarcastic to the core. If you think you are not one of those i describe, then you don't have to feel anything about it. So, don't flame me. BUT, it will cure any BBB virus. Including mine. Hahaha. The words are not directed to any subjects in my photos. Thanks. Ok, parties over. Time to wake up to face the reality. (Get that hangover look off your face!) ![]() Think and do something about it before you are left all alone. (And it's worse when you don't even know about it...) ![]() Wanna break away from your parents and talk big? Think about it. (Applies to spoilt brats only) ![]() Want that new ride? Zhng here, Zhng there when you can only run at 1/2 the speed of the car legally? Think about it. (Parking is free for bicyles. Hehe.) ![]() Think you are an Evergreen? Sorry, you are outphase. (Salute to Fujifilm S5 pro!) ![]()

Look at how pro he looks. ![]() Ya, so you realise, Love is the only thing that is priceless and free~ Despite how gloomy the economy is. ![]() Your mama and papa will never leave you alone. If you follow the same path and the same direction. ![]()

Your girl will not leave you. Even if you guys need to share the view on a smaller LCD on your point and shoot ![]() But, don't take it for granted. Do something about it. Or you will end up waiting endlessly. (Bro, that's not a bus stop.) ![]() We are in the same boat. (Yeah, i want my D700, i want my Skyline, I want this, I want that as well. But i don't need them. Yet.) ![]() So, let's move on and make 2009 a really Happy one for all. Note: BBB virus applies only to thinks you want, not need. We do still need to spend to boost the economy. (Not sure about how economy works? Damn. GOOGLE is, and always has been your best friend!)

1月18日2009年 "View" Finder ![]() Happen to see this young boy from part of a China children tour group at Buddha Tooth Temple today. He was attempting to take photos of the store and store sellers at the entrance of the temple. He brought up his camera to his face slowly... He suddenly stopped, run about 1.5 meters and was beside me. Then, he brought the camera to his eyes and snap. I took a shot of him out of the idea of capturing his action. On a closer look at the shot, then i realise, he was using the view finder to shoot. Hah, i still remember the day when i bought my D80 with my friend. After the camera was turn on, i was expecting to see something on the LCD. And my friend told me, "Err... You need and can only shoot using the viewfinder..." Yup, i bought the camera with the thinking that it is just a piece of gadget and if i buy it, i can have nice photos blah blah blah (besides one of the reason that i bought it to motivate myself to work harder). Then came the Live view which makes it easier for PnS shooter to convert to dSLR. It is definitely a useful function for low angle shots. Then came the video recording. So, what's next? Technological improvement is definitely something that make things convenient for users like us. But, along the way, i wonder how many ever fully utilize the functions and realize their limitations before they jump on to the next model? I myself have pro lenses, but like someone mentioned before, it merely gives user a sharper image. The rest are still up to me/us to control... Get the basics right. Viewfinder. As the name suggested, to find the view... That best brings out the theme and mood.

3月7日2009年 In The Middle ![]() The rules were clear. The signs were shown. The past was bright. But it was sealed. The future? Seems dark. But there is always a small path out. Of Everything. Anything. So hold on. For a grip. A support. And keep a lookout. For there is always a North. For everyone. Anyone. *Rules-- Traffic Rules (Shown by the Red Man Sign) Signs -- "Danger, Keep Out" sign Sealed and Bright Past -- Past, shown as the path behind the man. Sealed structure. Road is brighter. Dark Future and bright small path -- Shown by the darker coloured road in front of the man. Bright small path represented by the thick white line. Grip, support, lookout -- As seen. North -- As defined and usually displayed by the map, always in the forward or top position.
