Nice series. Exposure is good.

#1: Nice composistion. A nicer background will be better....but sometimes can't choose that. The red leaf at the bg is bit distracting though

#2: The eyes are not focused. If you have a few shots of this at the same FOV, you can try stacking or cloning the sharp eyes of one image to this image...to get more DOF in the shot.

#3: Good side approach. The eyes of the one below is abit soft. Also may be good to rotate the view ACW so easier for the viewer. Abit of fill at the GH head region will be good.

#4: Good record of mating shots

#5: Well captured view of mating tortise beetle. A side on shot as in #3 will be nice.

Interesting series, all with very good lighting with no burns except for bit of reflections on the tortise beetles. Side view would be interesting for that one, but I know how small those guys can be, so...

Admiralty Park? Looks like a good day for mating!

Gee.. thanks for the constructive & valuable pointers from you, Master 'tchuanye'. I always enjoy viewing your master piece whenever you have posted those small little creature, they are just awesome. It made me wonder every each time.. how you do it? Hope I can be 1/5 of your standard one day. I will take down your pointers and put to practice, thanks again.
