Nope... None are what I am looking for... but I might use one of them.
I should add, the lyrics "round and round" are not in the chorus, I think.
And now I have forgotten how the song goes... :S

Which genre and roughly which year does the song belong? what's the song roughly about? can roughly use do-re-mi or 1-2-3 notation to 'type' out the tune here? Even better if you know how to type out the notation used by BASIC play command.

Looking at all the suggestion... now I am thinking could you be meaning The Circle Game
by Joni Mitchell? Here's abit of the lyric.

"And the seasons they go round and round
And the painted ponies go up and down
We're captive on the carousel of time
We can't return we can only look
    Behind from where we came
And go round and round and round
    In the circle game"

If you hear the song trying to find what it is and you know it mentions "round and round" why not write the rest of the lyrics you hear. That would help even if you google it.

    Thanks everyone,
I did not find the song I was thinking of.
I only remember this line (with the words "round and round") from the song so I'm not sure which genre... just know it's a catchy tune.

But it's ok, I'm not looking for it anymore. I've used the song "Round and Round" by Gil Ofarim. This was one of the suggested songs here so it's also cos of this thread that I found a song so thanks, you've all been a great help!
