#6: Ant-mimicking Sac spider
Another spider that mimicks an ant. ![]() #7: Another one with striped body....but fella lost 2 legs. For spiders, when they moult, they will re-grow their legs! Amazing! ![]() #8: Top view ![]() #9: Tiny fella, few mm, and could be a crab spider...also lost 2 legs ![]() #10: Lynx with Prey ![]()

tchuanye,
I was told by a friend who is with NPSS that they have the best macro shooter. Can I know how do you set up your diffuser? I only use a speedlite 430 EX II for macro shot is this enough ? I see you have a big collections of spiders. Can I know which place in Singapore has the most spiders? I have tried SBWL, Admiralty pk and Ubin so far. Alan |

And others here like Mendis, melvyneo, stevewhy! All very good macro shooters! Can check my equip link. The diffuser is a homemade one. Really depends on your working distance. If the distance is far, a diffused flash at the lens height may be a good start. If closer WD, will prob need 2 flash as the lighting become directional. I suppose thats why for the MPE macro lens, it comes with the twin macro light as the WD is super close. Spiders wise, my large collections are accumulated all over Spore, esp when I bring my family out. No particular place, even my HDB estate have many spiders....just have to open your eyes to see! Nah....expected someone to say that....but was also surprised to see both of them along the same railing.....
