Hi FCP experts
What is the method to generate Chinese Text in FCP? I've searched both Apple Support and Google, but can't seems to get a solution for this. Appreciate your advise. Thanks. Rgds |

Go to System Preference, International, select your languages and input methods.
Once you've done your selection, press 'Comd + SpaceBar' if you've set that as your shortcut. Then you can type 中文了。 可以吗? ![]()

谢谢 it works perfectly now. Got a while to figure it out though, especially when the CMD+SPACE clashes with the Mac's default link to the triggering the Spotlight Search function. Manage to get it works after disabling that link. Wonder why Apple configure this shortcut key both to Spotlight and Language change, and causes some of us to confuse for so long before able to get it work. Thanks for the advise that leads to this resolution. Rgds |
