Remote Release Cord Vs Wireless Remote

Hey guys

any major differences between the remote release cord and wireless remote other than one is wireless and one is wired?

Both can control shutter release time right?

Yes, both provides remote-control features.

But wired is more fail-proof as it doesn't require line-of-sight.

The IR one does not allow you to half press for AF.
