Default My Tokyo Trip

Just came back from a vacation in Tokyo few days ago. Was pretty excited about this trip cauz it was the first time I brought along a DSLR. As a matter of fact, it was mainly for this trip which I decided to buy the 450D a month ago.... Still quite new to DSLR, so the pictures I took looked quite "lack luster" compared to many Japan shots I saw in this forum. Anyway, will like to share some of my shots with you... Enjoy....

BTW, will be locking up my 450D for the next 3 months or so... Have lots of work to catch up. Anyway I had enjoyed my 450D very much for the last one month, but unfortunately, work have to come first....

A ray of hope from heaven... Guess her business will prosper...

Kingdom of dreams (actually posted this in my APAD thread, but it's my favourite shot in disney, so repost it here again)

Octopus on board....

Octupus being cooked....

Can't believe there was no comment on this thead. nice series.
very lucky for getting Mt Fuji on such clear skies (I could barely see it for 5 mins even when I went up to the 5th station[or 9th?]).
please dont resist the beauty (Oriental Beauty), can get internal bleeding. the skin tone is a bit too pale tho.
thanks for sharing this.

Thanks emlee for the comments and encouragement... Was quite lucky that the sky was pretty clear at Mt. Fuji... Also point noted on the skin tone, maybe I had overexposed it too much... Cheers and Happy New Year!

Thanks MRSAMO... Yeap, I guess the highlight for the tour was Mt. Fuji. Unfortunately couldn't manage to take any shots during sunset, else I think it will look magnificent... Cheers!

Thanks bluesky1. I had my 450D + EFS18-55IS + EFS55-250IS... But 95% of the time was using the EFS18-55IS. I think I only use the EFS55-250IS for the kimono fashion show and Tokyo Bay (the airship)... Cheers!
