Work stop many years ago, now is a good place for fishing, very deep water during high or low tide.

The fish you saw in the picture is about 3ft+, and this is the 3rd big fish they catch in the last 2 hours.

The place is very windly with shelter, ice cream man and etc and visit you in a fix interval. A lot of free parking lots.

thanks for the info. so this is what they trying to revive and integrate into the new plan? saw in papers some time ago about this new water area for entertainment and all.

The Mall operate for a while but failed due to lack of business. However I dunno how safe it is to go fishing there. I had seen snatch thieves and drug addicts loitering there.

I was there for taking picture only, no fishing. Boxing Day had a very nice blue sky, a good day for photographic.

I saw many Malaysia lawyers parking their cars there. People who go there for fishing are regular, they are friendly people, so you need to pay attention to the stranger.

Business no good so close down. Many Singaporean had purchased the shop there after close down still need to service the loan. Very sad.
