Greetings all.
I have been a Canon shooter for a few years, previously shot with a Fuji S5000 as my training camera.(learnt the basics with it) Now i want to get an S5 pro after seeing the photos, but I dont know anyone that has one, neither can I find a rental house that will rent it out(if anyone does know, do PM me!) So I am asking here, anyone here can let me shoot a few photos with it? Probably on a weekend, will be around 2 hrs at max. I know its asking quite alot but i will try my luck, really need to be comfortable with the camera before i make a commitment. ![]() I have access to F mount lenses so I will only need the body Thanks. P.S, Perhaps at the next F.U.N meeting? Dont mind joining the shoot ![]() TIA |

You are welcome to join us during our next F.U.N outing. Bring along your Canon and we can do a side-by-side comparison of both cameras' features and image quality.
For your information, my I use a Canon EOS 1Ds MK III at work, and my brother-in-law has a Canon 40D. In terms of colors and dynamic range, the S5 Pro is still untouchable. Last edited by photobum; 27th December 2008 at 08:26 AM. |

I do have access to a 1Ds Mk3(and more recently a 5D2)
DR and colors rendition wise, from what I can see from those photos posted on the forum and from my own photos, I would say the fuji still beats them all. The 5D2 somehow just cant seem to get the blues just right for my tastes. 1Ds Mk3.... well I kind of thought Digic3 is a disaster ![]() thats why i want to try fuji again! |

Hi Photobum, i would like to join the next F.U.N outing as well. However I do not see any thread in Fujifilm section about it.
When will it be and do you have the details? I wish to bring along a D700 and compare it with the S5pro. Will you be able to help me arrange? Many thanks in advance. |
