Camera Shops at Orchard Plaza

i was walking around orchard plaza that area
-between somerset and dhoby gaut-
and i realised that there was a lot of camera shops there.

so i was wondering if the shops there are like reliable or cheap or stuff like that.
and its GST free! lol

GST free is likely for tourist who get GST rebates... these shops with bright lights and signs like GST Free are, to my opinion, tourist traps... it is like us going to HK (for example) and see shops with bright neon signs.

Personally, I would avoid such shops and go with the reputable ones like John 3:16, MS, TK, CP, etc.
