the next time u post up photos of models, make sure u list down the appropriate acknowledgment and credit the work to the relevant fotographer/s.

you're using their fotos to try and earn some $$, it is only right that you give them the proper crediting.

Yea I always wonder why people say silly things like "credit to the photographer". that's the same as not even botherign to say. or clearly showing a lack of understanding of the credit system. The crediting of a photographer is to let poeple know who did the work, not to cover your ass to prevent copyright disputes. A lot of people have this misunderstanding that "oh I credit already, so I can copy and use". Worse, now people think by just saying "credit to the anonymous photographer" it absolves them of liability. Weird and strange.

Hei Little sis,i think you need to learn more from the senior organiser here.You need to buck-up more esp come to the issue of photos by respective photographers.I have never been to your organise shoot before,so i'am not sure how you manage your models.Just my advise...

In fact I don't mind. Wanzhuo has my permission even to remove my watermark on the pics. It is just a photo taken in a casual nature, like you take photos for your sister or brother during an outing. What's the problem here?

Acknowledgments or declarations can be done, yes. You can write a very solid official letter on the using of pics and such. BUT, I think this is quite superficial because the documents are not signed by the parties. It ends up zero. So, no point. We should learn to be flexible and efficient. I think "Credits to so and so" is sufficient. There is no need to post a big, formal, solid barrister's letter on every shootout thread that usually expires in a week or so.

So, who is the photographer for the first picture? If you don't even know who the photographer is, how could you have received permission to use the picture?

all we want is to see the proper crediting.

this is not much difference from a modeling agency leeching fotos and using them for commercial reasons.


this is just one of many threads here in the Photoshoot section.

a clean up is inevitable.
