    Well i worry because i dont think i will be able to fork out another 2k to buy a new set if the current set is damaged. so well if anyone knows of any company whom can insure the set of camera and lens do let me know.

    Premiums vary but over and above the normal home insurance which can cost in excess of $150 and upwards - reckon about 1.5-2.5% more based on the value of your equipment.

    This can be revised yearly to reflect depreciation.
