I believe you had shot these photos handheld coz I can see motion blur in your photos. Try to use a tripod next time. Pic 1: good eye contact of the subject. Pic 2: a bit overexposed coz some white are blown. Pic 3: focusing seem to be on the body. Try to focus on the head especially the eyes. Good attempts and thanks for sharing these beautiful birds. im using d300 and 300mm with 1.4 teleconverter,its 420mm f5.6.iso @200.

Good job. Agree wif Newguy to set up ya tripod. Have ya cropped in a lil too much. Lighting seems good for tighter aperture setting for a sharper shot.

All these shots have great potentials! I really like the fill the frame composition.
If I were you, I would make the pics abit sharper with details and post-processed the colors to make the birds stand out from the surrounding.
