I like the last one - very cool.
The skink looks like it swallowed a 'Snikkers' bar

Some image captured in Botanic Gardens. May not be up to mark yet, according to the one who took these shots.

I just got started and got hold of a used Canon DSLR to start knowing more about DSLR and hope to take good Singapore Photos in the future.

i feel that many of your pictures are kinda overexposed actually.
but i love the cat pictures. if the picture ofit yawning had been in sharper focus, it would've been great.

Hi Grey Knight,

nice attempt I would say.

As what bro coolin has mentioned, most of the pictures are overexposed and also the bag behind the cat is extremely distracting.

The last picture was simple great. Love it.

Sorry for the confusion. The photos were taken by my sis, not me. I am only just starting to get to know more about DSLR. Understand from her is to first understand the animal behaviour, and it will soon become quite (but not always) predictive. She sprained her neck once while trying to capture an image of a blue bird. She uses a lens that can zoom, which I do not know anything about yet - But I will soon, I hope!

thanks!
the overexposure was due to me setting the brightness of the LCD to minus 3. didnt know it had an effect on the photos ( as in causing me to overexpose) until too late , which was when i got the advice from a pro to keep the brightness at 0.
