Default Why no Minolta DSLR?

Come on... why do you think minolta is not coming up with a DSLR yet? Are they waiting for the X3? Or are they deep in developement of something that'll blow away the competion?

The Market is now saturated with Nikon, Fuji, Canon and Sigma DSLR. So what features would you like to see in a Minolta DSLR? Full Frame CCD?

There IS, (or rather was) a Minolta DSLR. The RD175. It's a 1.75 megapixel camera, with 3 CCDs like advanced video cameras. Focal length multiplier of 2x. Based on the Dynax 500Si body.

There is also a RD3000, using 2 1.5 megapixel CCDs to get 2.7 megapixel final resolution. Focal Length Multiplier of 1.5x. Based on the Vectis S1 body.

Relax flare. You know Minolta always surprise us from behind. They like to see wat their rival don't and they will implement it into their equipment.

Minolta also got plan in making IS lens, but it is in patent.

Obviously Minolta's research department feels that there is not enough demand for digital SLRs in its target market segment, so that's why it has not come up with one.

Just as well for consumers. Spend your money on better lenses, not bodies. :-)
