Whatever you got flared right in the middle of the picture!
You got an UWA?

It might or might not. It depends on the angle of the light source. Sometime you can just use your hand to block the flare.

I took off the hood and I knew about the flares, don't mind those unless I'm taking a serious shot. The sun was directly in front of me and I think the Massa filter it came with was cheap.
As Jopel said. Hey Ombre, why so grumpy one? Last edited by MRSAMO; 22nd December 2008 at 09:37 AM. |

From the perspective, it's a wide angle lens.
From the CA and softness at the corners, it's unlikely a pro-grade glass. Will you reveal the 'answer'? If so, when? ![]()

What's a pro grade glass?
You gave a few hints, think of lens that has these problems :-) Last edited by MRSAMO; 22nd December 2008 at 10:25 AM. |

Didn't notice the CA. Looks quite ....Maybe it's also caused by the direct sunlight straight ahead. Hmmmm, it's a UWA; TS is a Nikon user? If so, this lens is not the Nikkor 14-24 f/2.8, I would assume. I don't know... Not too familiar with the characteristics of these lenses. Don't wanna get flamed for guessing the wrong brand/model... ![]()

I'm guessing Sigma 20mm F1.8? What system are you on anyway?

Haha... Think he's referring to the Nikon PC-E NIKKOR 24mm f/3.5D ED. You can check it out here:
