You are using 1/15 - 1/60s for all the shots!!! You are making really making me feel lousy.

Superb background for all the shots and very well-focused.

Great series of shots. Very good exposure and well composed.

You made those slimy crawlies look so cute ...and delicious. Like top shell.

Do you have to import all these images into Photoshop for retouching and correction of colors? Or you can just use the pictures directly as it was shot from camera?

Yes. I put the borders using PS and do slight USM.

In fact, outside my studio is a open garden, after raining, a lot of little insects will come out, together with bees, snails, frogs, worms, whatever, sometimes I feel like being teleported to the Botanical Garden.

I shot butterflys and dragonflys before, but lost patience while waiting and waiting. Sometimes spent the whole morning could only get 1 or 2 shots.

Lovely shots. Did you use flash? I wonder how you cut down the reflection from the shell.

Thanks. I did use a flash for these shots. Compensated to atleast -1stop, with omnibounce and handheld away from the subject.
