    When cancer patients have no compelling purpose
    to live any longer they will give in very passively to
    any advice or procedures to please their doctors or
    their family members.

    This I think is very sad going down uncomplainly
    and is definitely a big struggle of the human mind
    at that stage.

    Well, on a lighter note, this can be mind struggling
    to a few growing mind.

    Kubler-Ross would say it is part of either the depression and/or acceptance in her 5 stage grief model.

    Denial
    Anger
    Bargaining
    Depression
    Acceptance
    chicken fight!
