![]() #2 ![]() #3 ![]() #4 ![]() Went to Bedok Jetty this morning to shoot the sunrise, a pity the sun was blocked by that huge patch of clouds. Took some nice HDRs and more. CnC is much appreciated! ![]()

Please resize them smaller in future. Esp #1.
![]() ![]() Also watch the horizon... it's slanted to one side. A lil fill flash or HDR would have helped for #3. |

If you realised all your shots are slanted. Taking pics with horizon across an image; you would need to pay attention to all other finer details. Example is the horizon is straight, if i'm overly over-exposing a part of the image or even under-exposing. Your pics, dun look like you brought along ur tripod. Camera/hand shake is apparent here. Landscape pics do require hardwork and patience, and not just, "this is nice, *(raise your camera, snap), ah i got it!" kind of thing. You will need to make sure the tripod you brought along is stable, look thru ur viewfinder and spot all little details that might just spoil the pic.

It was a very enriching experience, as I don't shoot landscapes at all. Going to get my own tripod soon! I suppose wind plays a part too, cause it was quite windy and I think the tripod was wobbling slightly. I do have other shots though, some to 30 seconds exposure. Learnt alot on aperature! Will work harder the next time an oppotunity comes. ![]()

Smaller...
most users use only about 1024 on the long side... so a 800x600 picture is better. |

other than what has been mentioned for the "landscape" photographs per se in #1 and #4, i find the ones with people snapshottish.
put some more thought into what you want in your lens, realise the vision, what you want to carry away from the moment. there is always time to press the shutter button after a little thought. makes for better pictures in the long run. on the bright side, the lamppost sprouting out of the girl's head makes for good humour.. ![]() |
