Thread: Academic vs Commercial Version

    Default Academic vs Commercial Version

I would like to know what is the limitation of these two versions?

Does it means if I use Academic version only for home use and Commercial can sell the photos using this version?

Please help to clear my confusion. Thanks.

acad versions on software are meant for people who works in the education field or are current students. IIRC from the EULA, one cannot use the acad version as a form of 'money-generating' motive. if you are using it for business, u have to get the full/commercial license.

most, if not all, the acad software cannot, or not meant to be resold after purchase.

I wonder do they keep track on the version in the EXIF?
