Warranty for Canon BG-E2N

Just want to confirm I didn't buy a grey set of the Canon BG-E2N. Does it usually come with original 1-yr warranty? Mine doesn't.

All local shops sell battery grips without warranty, gray set or not.

As you might not know all canon DSLR accessory don;t come with the warrenty. But then U can try go back to the shop and ask for exchange. If they willing to.

I was wondering the Speedlite is also an accessory but it has warranty.

Don't worry bro. It's common to misunderstand each other. Cheer up. Today you have obtained some new information prior to your own research. Now you do know that some Canon items don't come with warranty. Not to worry. If the item does fail, you can bring it down to CSC, sometimes, the people might change it for you if the item is relatively new, otherwise you can do a repair.


Ultimately enjoy your new purchase. Have fun!

I bought my BG-E2N at MS color 3 days ago, also don't come with warranty, but the sales man ask me to go back to him if got any problem since i cannot test the grip there (i don't bring my 40D along and they also don't have any display set there)

Agreed, but my grip seems to have some problem now. The battery level read back not accurate, left slot and right slot of the grip read different level. Jailat.... Do u have the same problem?

It's not inserted properly. Remove the grip and insert it again.
