This is like one of the worst errors you would ever get.
I was in Japan when it first showed this error, I was shooting then the aperture suddenly turns dark which I think is due to the aperture. Few shots later, it is back to normal. Roughly, 10 shots later, disaster. When I shot, it gave me a ERR99 saying that I should change battery. Since the camera pointed out it was the battery, I thought it was probably the cold that causes the camera but, the camera doesn't show any problem when you shot from 24-55mm. After a couple of days, I found out that as long as your are at the widest aperture of a focal length, it works. (eg, f3.5 at 18mm is okay because f3.5 is the widest) So, basically, there's something wrong with the aperture control. This sucks, especially when you are overseas. Now, I am going to bring it to CSC soon.

i Actually tried removing the battery and reinstall, press the DOF preview button to open and close the aperture blade, but its stuck, but pressing that button somehow release the aperture blade to open.. so using that lens i never use small than F3.5, haha.. So CSC actually replaced a new aperture diaphragm, cost is free coz under warranty -.-||| this happened 5 days after i bought my new camera...
