    I did, but the screen is simply too small for decent surfing...

    Unless CS could come up with something like PPCSG's pocket forums, which is formatted for our PDAs. That would be nice

    I've customised a PDA version for a gourmet forum at http://asia-bytes.com/forum/?styleid=9

    I'll talk to the clubsnap administrators to implement a PDA version. Hopefully accessible via http://pda.clubsnap.org

    I'm spending a lot of time with my PDA now. I'm writing this with my pocketPC

    All the More because not everyone has unlimited access. that why the PDA version has to be well optimised

    I'd like a wap version, but i'm scared the GPRS charges will be ub3r high because of the data that's available in this forum

    sorry for the delays. i had a lot of problems doing blind html editing using the templates Edmund emailed me.

    I had to set up another test vBulletin 3 server to modify the templates.

    you know what would be interesting ?

    if the pages pick up the context type of the browser, then customise the screen/page according to the device type using transformation/style sheets .... so it would allow for the pages to be viewed across the various devices ... xhtml phones , PC browser, PDA browsers etc ...

    unfortunately, i only know how this can be done in java.... no PHP experience ...

    Actually the "auto-detect-browser" function is around. Let's say this is a HTML page:

    <html>
    <body>
    Text
    </body>
    </html>

    You can do the following to let the browser detect if it's a XML browser:

    <html>
    <body>
    Text
    </body>
    </html>
    <xml>
    <card title="WAP Page">
    <p> Hello</p>
    </card>
    </xml>

    I think that would do it..

    CS is just about barely usable on a Sony TH-55 though having the option to do landscape mode on this would be nice...

    Still the NetFront browser on it does a pretty good job.

    Regards
    CK
