Thread: Camera Bags For Women

    Default Camera Bags For Women

    Hello all,

First post here, hope someone can help

I'm looking for camera bags that are designed for women. Although the bags I see around the camera shops are functional, but they are rather boring (IMHO ) with the typical or generic black, brown or single coloured types. I'd prefer something a little more feminine like these I saw online:

    The Jill-E range - http://www.jill-e.com/images/Lead-Photo.jpg
or the Shootsac range - http://www.shootsacblog.com/images/content/lively.jpg or http://www.shootsacblog.com/images/c...eilajones1.jpg

Any idea if I can get those or something similar in SG?

    Thanks!

Hi. You can try Crumpler's range of photo bags...they are more "fun" rather than strictly feminine in design...but nevertheless reliable and practical.

Their official Singapore website is here.

But it's better to bring your camera and stuff to the outlet to test it out. They are at Wheelock Place, Level 2. I think got 10% off for DBS Fresh card holders.

    Cheers.

Buy the camera bag inserts and you can fit them into your normal carry bags...

Definitely the Shootsac. My wife was looking for a nice camera bag for a long time and ended up getting one.

If you are just going out with family/friends, then another thing to consider is buying a bigger handbag. Most of the time when not on shoot, my wife just puts the DSLR in her handbag.

    nagich,

how big is your camera and what lens do you usually bring?

i have bags ranging from lowepro, billingham, crumpler, original nikon bags.

if you are shooting and travelling alone with 1dslr + 1 lens, get a crumpler.
    else, go for the billingham.

to me, handbags which are fashionable doesnt mix with camera bag.

sometimes, i dont even bring a camera bag, just hang it on your neck and walkabout.
but i drive, so i reckon lugging it around aint very much of an issue.
