Rebel Xsi/450D Challenge II

Welcome to the second installment of the Rebel Xsi/450D Challenge. For those of you new to this, you can visit our previous challenge here to see what it's all about.

Basic Rules for the Rebel Xsi/450D Challenge

1. This is not a competition and totally just for fun.
2. 2 weeks time frame to get your best shot (prefer to be taken with a 450D).
3. Post your best shot in CS Rebel Xsi/450D Challenge thread. Only 1 photo per participant so make it your best.
4. After close of submission, 1 week for votes on the top 3 photos
5. 1 vote per nick (voting open to all even outside 450D users)
6. No prizes cuz no budget. But winner with the most votes will get to select the next topic. Also, we all get to share different photos of the same topic.

Balloons

Again, all are welcome to take your best shot and interpretation of the topic "Balloonsl". It can be a sculpture of something looking like ballons, balloons at parties, balloons on T-shirts or whatever within this topic.

Closing date for this challenge will be on 2 January 2009. I know it's a little longer than the 2 weeks the last time but this will give people more to shoot with Christmas and New Year's parties on

This challenge does seems a little tough but that's the fun in it . I have suggestions for those still looking, others are always welcome to add to the list too:

1. Balls at the floating platform (preparing for the Countdown)...they look like ballons in the water
2. The Zorb ball in some malls (you know the big balloon ball you can crawl into and "walk on water")
3. Those lucky to go to or are in Australia/New Zealand now can take hot air balloons (its summer there now and good there are rides avaliable)

yap, the intention was to compose the lamp post to emphasize on the vibrance and engergy of the balloons.

i tried to take some night shots yesterday and most of them end up blur
