Yep, and I also think that the foreground is too underexposed, and afraid that overexposing will wash out the buildings in the background. I tried this same shot before with a film SLR and the effect wasn't good. This time round it is slightly better, but still don't have the effect I want.

u can try to use fill flash to light up the statue..... |
