Rather than sending to canon service center to calibrate lens, i think this new LensAlign will allow user calibrate lens at home. Just want to hear how many user out there say this is correct way and it's good and can save $$ by DIY. But wonder if this can calibrate Ultra Wide Zoom lens like EFS 10-22mm or EF 14mm. Anyway, how to feel good shooting when don't know how good a lens' calibration accuracy?

So expensive :P
http://www.northlight-images.co.uk/a...djustment.html DIY ... FOC Many have tried it and proved accurate. Correct me if I'm wrong but microadjustments is more useful for prime lenses. E.g You can't calibrate the entire range of a 17-40 with mircoadjustments. Usu have to use the max zoom. If you want an entire range accurate ... still have to send into CSC. Camera body software does not allow for DIY. |

Unfortunately, no.. the only Canon cameras that have AF microadjustment are the 1D Mark III, 1Ds Mark III, 5D Mark II and 50D.
