    Do you? How can we block those flash ads?

    Firefox has an included pop-up blocker.

    It works all the time for me, unless I accidentally (or purposely) allowed pop-ups for some sites.

    Something to help folks with those troublesome ads.

    Try also the 'Flashblock' plugin for firefox... love it. Blocking unwanted Flash animations (even though not advertisements) speeds up browsing.

    Yes. Although they are a neccesity, i just find them annoying and being memory-intensive-hungry?

    I remember my work laptop, lacking ram, couldn't function proper, websites with ads. It would lag like few minutes. Even msn...when the loading of the ad in the corner lags...msn refuses to load up. Crappy.
